Research project Green Integrated Technology for Removal of CO2

CO2 is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the EU which produces a positive climate forcing or warming effect on Earth by absorbing energy and slowing the rate at which the energy escapes to space.

This project aims at the development of novel metal-organic framework (MOF) materials and green technologies for the capture and conversion of CO2. To this aim, we will integrate and couple performance-tailored hybrid materials with photoconversion technologies using renewable energy.
