(In)finite water: a study of how preschool children´s as connoisseurs, engagement with and in societal environmental issues
The purpose of this doctoral thesis in early childhood education is, together with preschool children, to explore water in different ways in order to thereby study forms of and methods for engagement and participation in social and scientific environmental issues.
Project description
More specifically, the purpose of this exploration with preschool children and water – as a specific actor and more-than-human partner – is to investigate how or with what methods it is possible to produce and encourage engagement, in which the preschool child is taken to be a connoisseur of our central contemporary environmental issues.
