Research project Inclusion and recognition of newly arrived migrant youth through educationaland vocational guidance.

The present research project aims to study career guidance and counseling for newly arrived youth and young adults in upper secondary education and adult education, with specialattention to the conditons for social inclusion and recogntion.

The aim of the project is to describe and analyze the signigficance of social inclusion and recogntion in and during the organization and design of career guidance for newly arrived youth and young adults. The project consists of three sub-projects:

A study of the professional ,administrative and political considerations that govern the guidance organization and design, which consists of a quantitative questionnaire survey and qualitative interviews,

a qualitative interview study of the professionalconsiderations and principles of design guidance learning and meaning around work , work and employment and

an ethnographic study of guidance practice with a focus on learning for working life and future.
