The Internet has facilitated the formation of a new type of multi-actor collaborative constellations among organizations, namely digital business ecosystems. With enhanced collaborations, these ecosystems are beneficial to their actors but also complex and more difficult to manage.

A key management concern is resilience, especially in the context of digitalization. However, research has suggested that some gaps related to business and IT system congruence exist in current methods of model development, analysis, measurement and management supporting digital business ecosystems.

Therefore, this project aims to seek insights into bridging these by developing methods of modeling, analyzing the quality and performance and managing the capabilities and changes of a digital business ecosystems. It can later be tested and validated in real cases from different industries, including Health Integrator – our external partner in healthcare.
