Modern businesses operate in dynamic environments that act as a source of continuous change. Thus, change emerges as an irreplaceable aspect of managing and analyzing business. The concept of capability is another important aspect of business design, so, business transformation is relevant to monitoring and analyzing capability change.

These tasks are facilitated by enterprise modeling. The plethora of existing capability modeling approaches does not include methods specialized for modeling capability change. KYKLOS is a capability modeling method, specifically designed to address this challenge and omission.

Its aim is to provide methodological and tool support for organizations that are undergoing changes or need to do so. The KYKLOS modeling procedure aims not only to capture the vital information types for modeling the complex phenomenon of capability change, but also provide guidance for the transition of capabilities. The modeling procedure is complemented by a homonymous tool which has been developed using the ADOxx platform.
