The study is comparative and is mainly based on interviews with municipalities in the Stockholm region. The overall aim is to develop processes that integrate culture with urban planning in order to make better use of the region’s cultural resources for local and regional development. The results will provide a possibility for evidence-based policy and planning processes, and is in line with both national and regional goals and priorities regarding developing collaborative administrative practices in the field of culture and urban and regional planning.
