Research project nPETS – Nanoparticle emissions from the transport sector

Are nanoparticle emissions from different transport modes dangerous to health? – that is what we investigate in the nPETS project 2021 - 2025

Air pollutants are known to cause several negative effects on human health. What is less well understood is how the tiniest particles, nanoparticles, affect people upon inhalation. In the nPETS project, nanoparticle emissions from the transport sector are examined both regarding their physical and chemical properties as well as their toxicity.
