Study 2. Older adults' autobiographical everyday memory

Most of our experiences concern daily events. Yet, very few studies have examined everyday memory, and none, to our knowledge, with old adults as participants.

Furthermore, previous research on the elderly's memory, in general, has mainly focused on how it is affected as a consequence of mental impairments.

The study's primary aim is to investigate healthy adults' memory accuracy over time and belief in accuracy.

The information gained could be useful in many fields of applied psychology, such as forensic, diagnostic, and therapeutic practices.
