Enregistering Swedish and Swedishness at a Stockholm High School.
In short, my dissertation project is about young people and ideas about language use, place and identity in Sweden today. Perceptions of what constitutes a good language, for example a good Swedish, are associated with a series of perceptions and judgments about speakers and places.
