Comparative perspectives on school attendance, absenteeism, and preventive measures

Recently a special issue of the journal European Education (Volume 55, Issue 3-4) was published on “Comparative perspectives on school attendance, absenteeism, and preventive measures in Europe and beyond”.

To celebrate this, we organized a Zoom a seminar on school attendance, absenteeism, and preventive measures. Each article in the special issue was presented by the authors and there was some time so ask questions at the end of each presentation as well as some time for a general discussion at the of the seminar.

The seminar was well visited by researchers and practitioners. You find a documentation of the presentations slides below, as well as links to the articles. Some of the articles are open access – you just can click them to download. All others are accessible through most university libraries for free.
