Research project Teaching Swedish Sign Language as second language (UTL2)

This project is about teaching Swedish sign language as a second language with a particular focus on the education within the bachelor's programme in sign Language and interpreting at Stockholm University.

The UTL2 project has the aim of enhancing students’ knowledge about effective ways of teaching Swedish Sign Language (STS) as an L2, and how teaching can lead to students’ making good progress and attaining deep knowledge. The project makes connections between theory and practice through the use of action research and comprises several sub-studies.
