Research subject Formal Demography
Formal demography is the field in demographic research that is devoted to the development and application of new methods for the analyses of demographic data.
These data typically cover different dimensions of individual life-course trajectories and involve elements of time to event. They can often be nested in different levels of observation and be depicted across different spatial units of observation.
