Feminist literary researchers aim to unsettle the meaning of a text, displacing and conditionalising it.

Feminist literary researchers aim to unsettle the meaning of a text, displacing and conditionalising it. Through resisting reading of both fiction and literary history, other thoughts and arguments are enabled which provide new insights into both literature and the world around us. From unearthing forgotten female authors to dismantling queer leakage and the hegemony of whiteness, feminist literary research creates other ways of making sense of texts.
