The aim of this project is to examine the explosion of feminist comic art in Sweden.

This project presents an innovative queertheoretical perspective on theory of history, focusing on desire as a historiographical driving force.

The question of visibility has emerged as a dilemma for many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) rights defenders in a time of increased systematic resistance to the rights of LGBTQ people.

The project explores conflicts about Drag Story Time in Sweden, where drag queens read stories to children. The focus is on the shifting and contradictory ideas about the child and the best interests of the child that are expressed in the debate, as well as the conceptions of gender relations, the future and the good society with which these are associated.

My dissertation in gender studies (2022, forthcoming) focuses on how temporality is experienced and negotiated in age play.

Cleaning is a practice with low status. Most people single out cleaning as the least attractive of house hold chores and the people who clean as a profession are usually badly payed. This research project is an attempt to investigate the bad reputation of cleaning – in everyday life, in work, in popular culture and, not the least, in the feminist movement.
