Research subject International Security
The study of international security focuses on historical, social and political dynamics around issues related to war, conflict and the pursuit of peace and stability.
This includes the study of both global and regional security issues, the foreign and security policies of individual states, as well as domestic security issues. Research on international security at the department covers both traditional military security issues, including war, new security threats, as well as conceptual inquiry into the meaning of security and how it is framed.
