Access to Justice and Civil Society: A Comparative Analysis

A legal doctrinal study (PhD project) with the overarching aim to analyze legal aspects of the use of algorithms in the employment context in relation to co-determination and the employer’s decision-making. 

The Swedish labour law model with its characteristics – an extremely high collective agreement coverage without government intervention and independent trade unions and employers’ organizations – has been well suited to handle rapid development and change. The model has long delivered both economic growth and good employment conditions.

The book project “Bridging the Gender Pay Gap through Transparency” is about the gender pay gap, civil society and application of the principle of equal pay for equal work.

The book that is to be the result of the project, Equality Law, volume 68 in the Scandinavian Studies in Law series, addresses equality from different perspectives. In total, over 15 researchers will contribute to the collection.
