Research in Dutch takes place primarily in the areas of language, literature and translation.

The research areas we focus on at Stockholm University are the following: second and third language acquisition, children's literature, translation sociology, sociolinguistics, (audiovisual) translation.

Three researchers, two of which are associate professors, are employed at the university.
