Research subject Special Education and Young Children

Our research interests in the Special education and young children research team focus on the health, learning and development of younger children.

We focus on all children and conditions and prerequisites for each and every child, as well as on the need for a preventive and interactive inclusive learning environment. These fields are examined in relation to concepts such as ethics, equivalence and democracy and are considered to be influenced by both hereditary factors and environmental factors.

his team’s research fields place emphasis on the voices, impact and influence of children. We are particularly interested in fields such as children’s environments and their significance, and transitions within and between home and preschool/school.
