Middle Eastern and North African Studies - Bachelor's course

The course contains the fourth semester studies in Middle East and North Africa studies and leads to a Bachelor's degree in the Middle East language and cultures.

Within this course, the student will work with their degree project. The student will also do a module on language and society and an degree project preparation module in theory and method.

  • Course structure

    The course consists of three modules.

    Modules

    1. The Middle East and North Africa: Language and society, 7.5 credits
    2. Theory and method, 7.5 credits
    3. Degree project, 15 credits

    Teaching format

    The teaching consists of lectures and seminars.

    Teaching sessions are compulsory.

  • Schedule

    The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
