Our summer course Law and politics focuses on one of the most foundational questions in the theory and practice of law in all jurisdictions: what is the relationship between law and politics?

Law and politics is given as an elective course within the framework of the summer programme at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Read more about programme on the following page:
After the course, students will be able to analyze and assess whether law and politics can be kept distinct in the context of the judicial review of legislation in terms of a bill of rights.

Teaching format
Instruction comprises 2 weeks of full-time studies and consists of lectures and seminars.
Assessment
Examination is conducted through active participation at all teaching and a take-home assignment.

No reception or telephone hours between 19 June and 19 August 2024 but the office is manned all summer. Possibility of booking Zoom meetings if needed. Book meeting by email at the latest the day before.
