Art Historical Knowledge and Interpretation II

This course, which prepares students for their degree project, is given as a reading course. Relevant literature will be selected in consultation with the supervisor. The language of instruction is English.

The aim is for students, through independent work, to understand and reflect on the relationship between their own research assignment and a major field of research relating to art history. Students will identify a state of research for their intended degree project and reflect on how the state of research relates to the object of study, the material and the research questions.
