Fundamentals of Information Security
The course is an introductory course that prepares you for later advanced studies in the field of information security and cyber security.
The course covers a general conceptual framework for the subject area as well as providing familiarity with terms and concepts relevant to more specialized security courses later.
The course is characterized more by theoretical than applied studies, which means that the studies concern productive ways of reasoning about security rather than e.g. how to secure specific systems.
