Statistical Models
The topic of the course is parametric statistical inference, in particular statistical theory for exponential families.
The course covers likelihood methods, exponential families, multivariate models, regression models, Fisher information and asymptotic results. The course is theoretical. It aims not only at a widening of the statistical toolbox but also at a deeper understanding of statistical methods and models, whereas concrete applications are more in the background.
