Nyligen publicerades ett specialnummer av tidskriften European Education med titeln "Comparative perspectives on school attendance, absenteeism, and preventive measures in Europe and beyond". För att uppmärksamma detta anordnades ett Zoom-seminarium om skolnärvaro, frånvaro och förebyggande åtgärder.

Seminariet var välbesökt av forskare och praktiker. Varje artikel i specialnumret presenterades av författarna och det fanns tid att ställa frågor i slutet av varje presentation samt tid för en allmän diskussion vid slutet av seminariet.
