One of the themes was about “Job insecurity, job contracts and unionisation”. Here, Hans De Witte (KU Leuven, also a member of the scientific reference group for NOWSTARS) spoke about perceived job insecurity, Magnus Sverke (leader of the research program) about different forms of employment, and Johnny Hellgren (leader of the project on unionization) about how unions can represent employees with insecure employment arrangements. A member of the Labor Market’s reference group of NOWSTARS (Karin Fristedt from Saco) also participated in the network meeting.
