The award is given out annually by the Education Committee at Föreningen Ekonomerna to the teacher who has best shown exceptional pedagogical ability during the previous year. The Ballerina award demonstrates the commitment of SBS teachers to the students as well as the students' appreciation for them.

Professor Bino Catasus

The winners of the award are determined by SBS students through a survey voting round where the students can nominate their favorite teacher. The students have voted for the best teacher through the Föreningen Ekonomernas' social media channels. This is the fifth time Bino Catasus has received the Ballerina Award.
