6th EWG Retail Meeting, Stockholm, September 20-22, 2023

Dear conference participants,
Welcome to Stockholm for this year’s annual meeting for the EURO working group (EWG) in retail operations. The 6th meeting of the EWG retail operations will take place on September 20-22 at Stockholm University at campus Albano, right on the edge of the central city. This year, the conference is organized in conjunction with the EWG Summer School on Retail Operations.

The EURO Group on Retail Operations was founded in 2015 and has met on a yearly basis since 2016. Previous meetings have been in Beilngries (Germany), Porto (Portugal) and Eindhoven (Netherlands), Mallorca (Spain) and Istanbul (Turkey).
We are looking forward to hosting this years’ meeting, and to welcoming you all to beautiful Stockholm for two days of interactions, discussions and academic growth.

The EURO Group on Retail Operations 6th meeting will be hosting Ph.D students, academics, and industry experts from different countries. 75 individuals are expected to participate over the two days of the 2023 meeting.

The program committee of the EWG Retail Operations will review the submissions as they arrive and finalize all evaluations June 1st. Please make sure you complete your registration by June 15th as a participant or a presenter in the conference.

The conference will take place at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, at the newly built Campus Albano. The address is: Albano building 2, Greta Arwidssons Väg 8, Stockholm.

The Elite Hotel Arcadia
The Elite Hotel Arcadia is located within 10 minutes walking distance from the conference venue.
To get from the airport to the hotel
- Arlanda Express train takes you from the airport to Stockholm central station in 20 min. Tickets can be purchased in kiosks on the arrival floor. From the central station, you can take the metro (red line) towards Mörby Centrum to Tekniska Högskolan station. Follow signs towards “Körsbärsvägen”. The Hotel is about 100 meters from the station.
- Flygbussarna Airport Coaches will also take you from the airport to the central station in about 40 min.
- Taxi from the airport takes about 30 minutes depending on the traffic. The taxi companies know the address to the hotel. Make sure you confirm the price before the journey. Fixed price should be appr. SEK 700.
