Executive Board

Aji P Mathew, Director, Professor in Materials Chemistry. Research focus on sustainable and biobased functional materials processing, characterisation and applications.

Berit Olofsson, Deputy Director, Professor of Organic Chemistry. Research focus on sustainable organic synthesis using hypervalent iodine chemistry. 

Varvara Apostolopoulou Kalkavoura, Co-ordinator. Postdoc researcher with working on biobased foams and textile upcycling.

Magnus Breitholtz, Chair, is a Professor in Ecotoxicology, Advisor to the President with regards to Environmental and Sustainable Development. 

Line Gordon Vice Chair, Curt Bergfors Professor in Sustainability Science, Director SRC at Stockholm University. Research focus on the sustainability and resilience of the biosphere through food and water. 

Lennart Bergström, professor in Materials Chemistry, member of the Scientific Council for Natural and Engineering Sciences at the Swedish Research Council, deputy director for the MISTRA Safechem programme.

Joseph Samec, Professor in Organic Chemistry, research focus on green chemistry in organic synthesis and biomass processing and applications.

Fredrik Nordin, Professor in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing, Head of Stockholm Business School and specialized in marketing.

Edouard Pesquet, Professor in Plant Cell Biology, PI of "Cell differentiation and coordination in tissues" research team.

Oskar Karlsson, Senior Lecturer, research focuses on developmental origins of health and disease with an emphasis on the exposome and underlying molecular mechanisms. Department of Environmental Science, SU.

Helen Blomqvist, CEO Sandvik Coromant, PhD in Materials Chemistry from SU.
