Albano is a new housing area right on campus, featuring buildings ranging from ground to six floors. It's not just close to campus but conveniently near the city center and green spaces. Within Albano, there are 134 studio apartments, along with 12 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom apartments. The Housing Office manages a portion of the available accommodations. All the buildings are owned by Svenska Bostäder. Studios span between 18-31 square meters, one-bedroom units range from 43–55 square meters, and two-bedroom ranging between 68–73 square meters. Each accommodation is well-equipped with a kitchen, bathroom (shower and WC), and comes fully furnished. The building also has a large laundry room on the ground floor.

A specific room cannot be chosen. However, some preferences, for example, a studio accommodation, a room on the ground floor or not located on the ground floor – can be expressed under "additional information" in the application form. There is, though, no guarantee that such requests will be accommodated.

All accommodation is rented out on a semester basis and charged accordingly. The rent for one semester for the smaller studios is approximately SEK 39 500–42 500, the larger studios are approximately between SEK 53 000–54 500, the one-bedroom is approximately between SEK 63 500–73 800, and the two-bedroom is approximately between SEK 78 250–80 750, and that includes heating, cold water, hot water, electricity, and internet (not Wi-Fi). Excessive use of electricity will be charged extra. The rent is paid in two installments. The first 20% of the rent together with the deposit is due straight after receiving the accommodation offer and is required to confirm the housing contract. A second payment consisting of the remaining 80% is due in the middle of the semester. In case of contract extension for a second semester, a new rental payment of 20% of the rent is due before the new semester and the remaining 80% is due in the middle of the new semester.

All our accommodations at Albano are furnished with a bed, a mattress, a kitchen table and chair/s. Some of the rooms also have curtains. All rooms have blinds and lamps. You must buy/bring your own quilt, pillow, sheets, and towels. Most studio accommodations have a 90×200 cm bed, but some of the larger accommodations have a bigger size bed. We recommend that you bring a larger bedding set so that it can be suitable even for larger beds (up to 160×200 cm) or that you buy the bedding set after you move in. The kitchens are equipped with necessities such as pots, pans, glasses, etc. The kitchen is also equipped with refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and a stove (with oven and hot plates). Cooking utensils and dinnerware are provided by the Housing Office.
