Interaction, Learning, and Multilingualism

The course examines language and learning from an interactional and multilingual perspective. This covers both the role of interaction in learning processes, with a main focus on second language learning and multilingualism, and learning of interactional competence in a second language in different everyday and institutional contexts.

The course presents theoretical perspectives in research on education and language where interaction has a central role. The course further provides students with methodological tools for data collection and analysis of multilingual interaction.
