Hanna Johannesson

Hanna Johannesson is Professor Bergianus, the tenth in order since 1791. Hanna specializes in fungi and researches their reproduction and evolution. She is particularly interested in how variation is created and inherited in natural populations and therefore studies witch rings of carnation. She has also developed BIG's first course on fungi, the orientation course Biology of Fungi 7.5 credits. Hanna is employed at DEEP.

Niklas Janz

Niklas Janz is a zooecologist and professor at the Department of Zoology. He is also director of studies at Zootis, program manager for the Master's program Ecology and Biodiversity and a valued teacher.

Sabrina Büttner

Sabrina Büttner has been employed at the Department of Molecular Biosciences (MBW) since 2015. Sabrina teaches molecular cell biology and researches cell aging.

John Fitzpatrick

John Fitzpatrick is an associate professor of ethology at the Department of Zoology. In June 2022, he was awarded Stockholm University's pedagogical prize Teacher of the Year. The following interview was done in January 2016 when he was relatively new at Stockholm University.

Sara Rydberg
